I had to laugh when I was reading this. I always hated it when people said that I can’t be a self-aware person. It is so true, the majority of the time, we do know what we are doing. But it is also true that we don’t always understand why we do something.
I know, that makes me sound like a self-aware person. Not to mention the fact that I’ve always been an avid user of games. I have played games like “Mario,” “Mario Kart,” “Rage,” and “Super Mario Bros.” (among others) and I have always had a very strong dislike for the games that make you act like an idiot.
This is why I think it is so great that gaming is so popular and there are so many different types of people who can play. There are people who enjoy the challenge, people who enjoy the competitiveness, and people who enjoy the strategy. People are not always the same, and I think this means that game developers should try to make their games more inclusive and entertaining for all types of players.
I see what you’re saying, and it is a valid point. However, I think games that are designed for people who are just as smart and creative as the rest of us are usually going to be less entertaining. I also think the fact that there are so many different types of people in the world means that games should try to appeal to those people.
The problem is that for people who aren’t really creative (or if they are, they’re probably not creative enough to make something like a video game), games should still be appealing to them. In such a game, I think the developers should be trying to include them as much as they can, and in a game like this, include people who just want to spend their time jumping on bikes and reading books.
I don’t think we should try to appeal to everyone. I think that games should be made for people who are creative and creative enough to make them, and if people like our game, they should play it.
For example, my favorite games as a kid were the platformers. I would spend hours with them playing them on my own. Nowadays I just play them online. I can still enjoy them, but not as much.
People who enjoy a game are usually on the same page as themselves. I love the fact that my kid played the original Doom 2 and not the “better” game. I love games for their ability to make me think, I love thinking about games. The only reason I don’t play them is because I don’t have the money to buy them.
I think the reason for this is the same reason why I refuse to play games with a lot of guns in them—it’s too hard. Games with guns do not have the same challenge as a game without guns. Because if you have to think about making it work, it’s going to take you longer and your tolerance level for it is going to drop.
I get that. I get it. Games with guns are pretty much always the same thing, you either need to pull the trigger, or you need to think about it more. So your tolerance for the game drops off quite a bit. But then there are games with guns where thinking and thinking is required, and that takes a little longer to get through, and your tolerance level drops off a little more.
