I don’t know about you, but I am a bit of a moody person. So much so that I have trouble getting a good night’s sleep. This is how I feel most days. Luckily, I have a couple of ways to combat the feeling that my brain is out of sorts. One is to take a good look at what I am doing and what I am thinking.
While I’ve heard that we don’t actually have a brain, I think that it’s worth pointing out that most of us have the ability to think without our brains at all. When you first start thinking about your day, the things that you’re thinking about are basically all the things that you’re doing.
If you can stop using your brain’s default mode then you can think more clearly. If you’ve never been taught to use your first thought as your default, then you’re going to be amazed at how much better you can think than most people. You can also train yourself not to spend so much time thinking about what you’re doing. I call this the “don’t think about what you’re doing” method.
I can tell you what I know: you will be much more effective at using your brain when you don’t think about what you’re doing. Your first thought is more likely to be your dominant thought.
I don’t mean to sound flippant or to imply anything bad about this method. Its just true, and I find that it makes me much more effective when I use it.
I’m going to suggest it to you as a technique to help you improve your attention span. I don’t know it will help you with anything (but maybe it will help you with your writing). But it could be useful if you’re a writer.
In my experience, this method is great for improving my attention span. I find that it is much easier to stay on task when I am focused on a task. Also, my mind is always in motion, so I have less tendency to miss things than when I am not.
And my ability to use missmoodym was one of the reasons I started using it. I think it is an excellent tool for improving one’s attention span. If you were to look at a list of things that you do every day and see how many things you have in your mind, the same number of things you would list as the same amount of things you do every day, missmoodym would be on your list of things to do every day.

You can then go back and look at what you missed and make sure it has been done.
